Even though I think choosing between the two biggest parties is, in the words of The Great Bukowski, "like choosing between warm shit and cold shit," I decided to volunteer my time during campaign season (you guess which party). I attended some meetings and called some people and went to some parties (where I spent a lot of time talking to an attractive young lady from The Other Team). Stood in a four-hour line to vote a day early and then stayed up all the next night into the next-next morning to get the results and now that it's all over all I can wonder is this:
